Many of these come from simple adornments, featuring styles and manufacturing techniques that barely changed through the centuries, at times making their dating very difficult.<\/p>\n<p>Some pieces of jewelry exhibit more unique styles, or show marks of age-specific manufacturing techniques, allowing us to assign them to specific periods, be they carnelian beads of Bronze Age necklaces or modern rings, semi-precious stones or simple glass. While none of these jewels were intentionally dropped by their owners atop the Temple Mount, their accidental loss serves as an important record of human activity through the ages for today&#8217;s
