A statue fragment — finger, complete with fingernail. Based on the finger size, the complete statue would have been the size of an adult, representing a god or Pharaoh. The statue, carved out of a dark metamorphic Egyptian rock, was brought to Egyptian-controlled Canaan during the Late Bronze Age (15th–13th century BCE; 18th–20th Dynasty).
